Prof Cao appointed Editor-in-Chief: IEEE Intelligent Systems

Prof Cao has been appointed Editor-in-Chief of IEEE Intelligent Systems and a member of the Magazine Operations Committee and the Publications Board.

The appointment was selected by the EIC Search Committee, IEEE Computer Society Magazines Operations Committee, Publications Board, Board of Governors and the Publisher and approved by the president of IEEE Computer Society.

This builds a nice transition from his five-year Associate EIC role to the EIC.

The IEEE IS is the oldest IEEE journal in AI, jointly sponsored by the America’s Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AAAI), British Computer Society, and European Coordinating Committee for Artificial Intelligence.
