After about 20 years at UTS with many exciting moments left, Prof Cao and his team have joined Macquarie University in June 2023. Prof Cao takes the role as the Distinguished Chair of Artificial Intelligence at Macquarie University (MQ), the first of such a role in AI and computer science in Australia.

Prof Cao’s team has joined the School of Computing, Faculty of Science and Engineering at MQ.
